Does your little one love Spiderman? Mine does 😉 So we got him the Lego Duplo Spiderman Headquarters Set and he’s explored the fantastic world of superheroes with it! Your child can experience all the excitement of creating adventures and a superhero story with Spiderman and his friends. We’ve had this set for over a year (that is why the box is not pristine – sorry for that), and after seeing how popular it has been at home, I wanted to share our experience with you.
The set features the characters from the Disney+ TV show Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and it has its headquarters and a motorcycle. It’s a fantastic child and toddler-friendly version of the Marvel Universe. A great way to get introduced to it.
It has a few pieces to build and play with, and your child can create adventures between the three friends and save the day. The set encourages children to use imagination and develop problem-solving skills, and your child will enter an exciting world of superheroes and have an unforgettable adventure!

The set also comes with a few unique and fun accessories: a slide, camera, globe tracker, web string, a newspaper with Green Goblin, and a “poster” of Spidey.
I’m sorry because I am missing the web string to show you. It is around the house somewhere and has been popping around every corner you can imagine for the past year. But today, of all days, the day I want to shoot pictures of it, I can’t find it anywhere. It is probably under the sofa or buried in another set. When I find it, I will update it. But here is the picture of the web string on the box 😉 (I’m surprised we haven’t misplaced more pieces, to be honest!).
This adaptable playset provides lots of opportunities to create stories and have hours of fun. The best part is that, as with all Duplo sets, you can pair it or expand it with other Duplo pieces and sets to play endless imaginative adventures.
Building the headquarters for the friends
The headquarters is the centerpiece of the Lego Duplo Spiderman Headquarters Set. It is the place where the three friends can come together to plan their adventures.
The box suggests two arrangements, but the booklet only explains how to build one. It also includes instructions on how to put the pieces together. With a little help from an adult, your child can easily assemble the pieces and create the headquarters. It is very simple and straightforward.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends – Exploring the Marvel Universe
Once the headquarters is built, your child can explore the Marvel Universe with Spidey and his amazing friends. They can use the motorcycle for racing off to the rescue. They can also use the pieces included in the set to create all kinds of fun activities together. With this set, your child will be able to explore the world of superheroes and have endless imaginative adventures.
We love expanding and combining Duplo sets with other toys that we have at home. We mix it with other Duplo sets we might have, like the Cars set or the pieces from our big green box. The large green Duplo base is a must-have – and we now also have a silicone version for our Inspire My Play Play Tray. But we also use other toys that are fabulous to make their world even more enormous. For example, we use our Waytoplay roads so Spidey can run with his motorcycle, use the Grimms Rainbow or Wobbel board as tunnels, the Large Stepped Pyramid or Connetix tiles to build cities, and so many more.
I especially like setting up a scenario on our Zonky Playsofa, and I love to see how he expands it and takes the friends on adventures all around the house. I love to see his imagination fly!
Creating adventures between the three friends
The Spiderman set encourages children to use their imagination and come up with all kinds of stories and adventures. For example, your child can create scenarios where Spidey and his friends have to save the day: save a cat from a building or help a driver in an accident.
Your child can also come up with stories where they explore the Marvel Universe or create scenarios where Spidey and his friends must save the day from villains. They can also use their problem-solving skills to figure out how to use the pieces to create different structures. With the pieces included in the set, your child can make all kinds of stories and adventures with the three friends.
